This is not a casino. No money is wagered.

We operate as a licensed amusement facility under Japanese law. You play with game chips that have no cash value. Chips cannot be exchanged for money or prizes, and there is nothing to win or lose financially. Gambling is illegal in Japan — what we offer is poker as a game of skill.

No reservation and no membership required. If you have never played Texas Hold’em, tell the staff and we will teach you.

FAQ

Questions we often get

Is this legal? Is it gambling?

It is legal, and it is not gambling. We are licensed as an amusement facility under Japan’s Entertainment Business Act. You play with game chips that cannot be exchanged for cash or prizes, so there is no money at stake. Casinos are not legal in Japan; poker as a skill game is.

Do I need to speak Japanese?

No. We have English-speaking staff on the floor during all opening hours, so you can ask anything in English. Poker is played with cards and chips and the dealer runs the game, so the language barrier is small to begin with.

Do I need a reservation or a membership?

Neither. Just walk in during opening hours. Private table bookings are the only thing that requires a reservation.

I have never played Texas Hold’em. Can I still come?

Yes. Tell the staff you are new and a dealer will teach you the rules and etiquette at a real table. The beginner package includes a one-hour lesson plus free play afterwards.

Can I come alone?

Most of our guests come alone. Once you sit down, everyone at the table is simply another player, and the dealer keeps the game moving.

Is there an age limit?

Guests must be 18 or over. Please bring photo identification, as we may ask to see it.

How much should I bring?

A weekday ring game starts at 4,100 yen in total — a 500 yen table fee, a drink from 600 yen, and 3,000 yen for 150 points of chips. On your first visit you get 300 points for that same 3,000 yen.
